Space Invaders You can't get much more retro than this classic shoot-em-up game. First introduced in 1978, it's a
simple game with simple graphics, but it has one of the most vital
assets for any computer game: gameplay. Many modern
games seem to forget this with the emphasis being more on graphics and using huge teams of designers. You must shoot at and destroy rows of nasty aliens before they reach the surface and capture the Earth! Avoid destroying your defences and you get bonus points for shooting the flying saucer. Press Space Bar to fire, move left and right using your arrow keys. P to pause, Q to quit.
